Comcast’s Xfinity customers will soon be able to control their TV viewing directly from Twitter, starting with NBC shows including The Voice and Sunday Night Football.

Using the new See It button, added into an expanded Tweet, Twitter users will be able to tune in to the show via their set-top box, on desktop or on mobile, adjust DVRs to record, access catch-up shows and even buy cinema tickets from Fandango.

This is the first integration of Twitter’s See It ads, which the company is hoping to integrate with a range of video distribution partners, television networks and websites. E! and USA Network are likewise putting launch campaigns together.
