Taxi New York 2Programmatic platform Pubmatic has announced relationships with 11 new premium publishers in the US, as it completes its relocation to the historic New York Times building.

Among the publishers who have begun to use its programmatic advertising platform are Live Journal, Bustle.com, Daily Caller, Escalate Media and Bonnier, who publish Popular Science, Outdoor Life and Saveur.

The company has grown its number of publishers by 30 per cent over the course of 2014, and now works with 46 of the top 100 publishers on the comScore 100 list. Not only has it attracted new publishers, but also deepened existing relationships, with 25 per cent of its publishers using its platform to monetise both mobile and desktop impressions, up from nine per cent less than two years ago.

The growth comes as the firm moves its New York office to a new space in the historic New York Times Building. The company’s New York-based workforce has doubled in the last year, and the company as a whole now employs more than 550 employees worldwide.

“PubMatic is growing significantly faster than the market as more premium publishers partner with us to help them maximise their advertising revenue opportunities in the midst of a quickly evolving media landscape,” said Kirk McDonald, president of PubMatic. “We are excited to move our New York office into the historic former New York Times building. The space was customised with the help of F2Design with an eye on the balance of form and function to encourage teamwork.”
